On Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 9 am to Noon, the Friends of DeBoville Slough will be conducting, with the assistance of the City of Coquitlam, our last and probably most important invasive plant control work party of 2017. Our mission is to cut Japanese knotweed so it can’t store any energy in its root system. So come out for a morning of great exercise and camaraderie will helping out the environment. We meet at the kiosk on the north side of the slough. Dress for the weather and remember the water and sunscreen if it is hot. If you have a favourite pair of lopers or pruners feel free to bring them along or we can supply you with tools.
